Weather Modification Annual Meeting - Long Beach, California: April 27-29, 2016

Long Beach Meeting Abstracts

The CALL FOR PAPERS for presentations at the WMA meeting is closed. Individuals are encouraged to submit abstracts of proposed presentations that focus on:

-Impacts of human activity on weather and climate

-Cloud and precipitation microphysics

-Mesoscale and Cloud Modeling

-Aerosol-cloud interactions

-Instrumentation for aerosol and cloud physics research

-Weather modification research

-Weather modification operations


A one-page abstract (maximum length) will be reviewed to decide upon relevance and scientific merit of the proposed topic/presentation. Abstracts should be submitted online by March 31, 2016. All abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to President-Elect Tom Ryan It was voted upon and passed by the board at the Santiago, Chile meeting that all presentations given at the meeting will be placed on the WMA website following the meeting. Please be aware that your presentation needs to be made available for this purpose. Please leave a PDF copy of your presentation on the WMA laptop following your presentation. If you aren't able to do this, please leave a copy with the WMA Webmaster, Stephanie Beall.
