Boise Meeting Program
Monday, April 17th, 2017
-A full day short course titled "Tracing the Effects of Cloud Seeding through the Hydrologic Cycle" (must register for short course when registering for meeting - lunch provided)
-Registration and Hospitality: 5:30-7pm
Tuesday, April 18th, 2017:
-A half day of concurrent sessions with the Western Snow Conference
-A half day of joint technical sessions with the Western Snow Conference
-An evening public presentations titled - "Know your Snow"
Wednesday, April 19th, 2017:
-Full day of concurrent technical sessions in conjunction with the Western Snow Conference
-WMA Executive Board Meeting
-Guest breakfast and tour (for guests of registered conference participants). Tour: World Center for Birds of Prey (transportation provided to off site tour).
-Joint Hospitality/Banquet/NAWMC Silent Auction | Banquet Speaker: Brad Wilson, General Manager, Bogus Basin Ski Area - "Ski Area Management Challenges in a Changing Climate"
Thursday, April 20th, 2017:
-WMA Business Meeting
-Technical Tour: A visit to the Dry Creek Experimental Watershed research sites, an NRCS SNOTEL site, a cloud seeding generator, and a collaborative weather station for youth education. (Must register for tour when registering for meeting - lunch provided)
Details regarding the entire meeting:
A full, hot breakfast will be served on both technical sessions and are included in the price of registration.
Posters will be on display during coffee breaks for members to view.
