Boise Meeting Abstracts
The CALL FOR PAPERS for presentations and poster for the WMA Meeting in Boise is OPEN.
Individuals are encouraged to submit abstracts of proposed presentations and posters that focus on:
-Cost benefit analyses of weather modification operations
-Cloud and precipitation microphysics
-Mesoscale and Cloud Modeling
-Instrumentation for aerosol and cloud physics research
-Weather modification research
-Weather modification operations
-Technological advances and applications to weather modification
-Methods of educating the public about weather modification
A one-page abstract (maximum length) will be reviewed to decide upon relevance and scientific merit of the proposed presentation or poster. Abstracts should be submitted online by March 17, 2017. All abstracts should be submitted online via Google Forms. The link to the Boise Abstract Submission form can be accessed here:

I encourage students in particular to attend this meeting and submit a poster or presentation abstract, as it will be well rounded conference including information about meteorology, water storage/issues and weather modification.

It was voted upon and passed by the board at the Santiago, Chile meeting that all presentations given at the meeting will be placed on the WMA website following the meeting. Please be aware that your presentation needs to be made available for this purpose. Please leave a PDF copy of your presentation on the WMA laptop following your presentation. If not, please make sure the WMA webmaster receives your presentation.
This meeting proves to be a busy but a very beneficial one. All members are encouraged to attend.
